J.P. Mikhael is a coach, mentor, and movement specialist with a unique expertise in back pain management, youth athletic development, and customized health and performance training. His approach is deeply personal- after battling his own back injuries, he spent years studying and applying the best rehabilitation and strength training methods to regain pain-free movement. That same dedication extends to his work with injured athletes, youth competitors from middle school to the collegiate level, and everyday individuals seeking to improve their strength, mobility, and overall quality of life. Whether working with a 10-year-old athlete, a Division 1 recruit, or a seventy-year old with chronic pain. J.P. tailors training to fit each individual’s needs, goals, and lifestyle.
His journey began as a Personal Training Director at two major gyms in the Fort Walton Beach/ Destin area, where he recognized a need for more accessible, results-driven training. This realization led him to create M3 Strength & Conditioning- the region’s first private training and performance facility designed to serve all populations.
At M3, J.P. and his team focus on understanding each client’s goals, creating realistic timelines, and ensuring that training programs are sustainable for long-term success. The last thing he wants is to put someone in a program they won’t be able to sustain- every plan is built around the individual’s lifestyle, work demands, and financial situation. A large part of M3/s success is its ability to work with people within their financial situation, making high-quality training accessible to more individuals.

Back Pain Management & Rehabilitation; Drawing from years of research and application of principles from experts like Brian Carroll, Dr. Stuart McGill (Gift of Injury) and Dr. Tommy John (Spinal Hygiene), J.P. has developed a system that helps clients recognize and manage pain triggers, rebuild strength, and move confidently again. His approach isn’t just about temporary relief- it’s about bringing back quality of life helping people live unrestricted. His personal journey have given him a deep sense of compassion and understanding for those struggling with pain.
Youth Athletic Development- From middle school to the collegiate level, J.P works with young athletes to build strength, speed and injury resilience. His methods have successfully developed a broad spectrum of athletes across multiple sports, including his own son, how now plays Division 1 football as a tight end for Georgia Southern.
Customized Strength & Conditioning- J.P. believes that feeling good is the foundation of moving well and performing at your best. Whether he’s training an athlete recovering from an injury or an adult balancing fitness with a busy career, his programs are built around each client’s unique lifestyle, work demand, injury history and performance goals.
One of J.P.’s greatest accomplishments has been his ability to duplicate and refine his training systems. – rooted in science and real-world application – so they are now woven into the DNA of the entire M3 staff.
Through years of hands-on experience, he has developed return-to-play protocols that allow his team to continue delivering the same high-level coaching and rehabilitation strategies that have helped hundreds of athletes and individuals. While J.P. can’t train everyone personally, he has created a staff that serves as an extension of himself, ensuring that more people can benefit from the systems he has built.
